- Standard encoding is free. Enabling additional resolutions adds to your storage bill rather than an encoding charge. Only Premium Encoding is billed, per minute of output and per output codec — $0.05/min for 1080p and 720p, $0.15/min for 4K and 1440p, $0.025/min for 480p and below.
- Storage is $0.01/GB in the default region, Europe – Frankfurt.
- Delivery comes in two tiers. Standard is priced by region: $0.010/GB in Europe and North America, $0.030 in Asia and Oceania, $0.045 in South America, $0.060 in Middle East and Africa. Volume is a single worldwide rate that falls with usage — $0.005/GB up to 500 TB, $0.004 to 1,000 TB, $0.002 to 2,000 TB.
- Transcription is $0.10 per language, per minute of video. Five languages costs five times as much.

The DRM base fee is per library, and it runs whether you use it or not
Bunny’s MediaCage Enterprise DRM carries a $99 monthly base fee per video library. Bunny’s documentation states it applies for as long as Enterprise DRM is enabled on that library, whether or not any licences are issued that month.
Two consequences worth planning for:
- If you segment content into multiple libraries, that’s $99 per library, every month.

This is the detail almost nobody accounts for. Bunny’s documentation explains that multi-key DRM licensing is per playback device, and that a single device may receive two separate licences — one for the video stream and another for the accompanying stereo audio track — resulting in two DRM licences issued and billed.
So a platform serving 55,000 protected playback sessions may be billed for up to 110,000 licences. Factor that multiplier in before comparing against any per-licence price.
Storage bills the whole ladder, not your upload
Bunny is upfront about this: storage is billed on what a video generates during encoding, not the size of the file you uploaded. Every enabled resolution is stored separately, and MP4 fallback, kept original files, preview animations, thumbnails and captions all add more. Bunny’s own wording is that a library “can easily hold several times the footage you sent it.”
One related constraint: geo-replication regions cannot be removed once enabled. A library replicated to one additional region is billed $0.02/GB rather than $0.01, permanently.
